Shri Hari Charitable Foundation is a noble endeavor initiated by the Mohota family of Wardha, a family deeply rooted in philanthropy for decades. The foundation’s origins trace back to the 1920s when Seth Jankidasji Mohota laid the groundwork for a legacy of generosity and social responsibility. From establishing a Dharmashala in Gokul for affordable accommodation for devotees to donating acres of land to Swalambi Sansthan in Wardha for advancing education, his contributions have left a lasting impact. His philanthropic spirit also led to the creation of several temples in the Vidarbha region and other significant charitable activities, with donations that today would be valued in multi-crores.

Shri Hari Gaushala Research and Social Foundation Ngo strives to extend educational opportunities to girls in socially and economically disadvantaged communities of India, where schooling is typically inaccessible. Our mission is to break the cycle of illiteracy that these girls often face. This is accomplished through community-based Learning Centers, providing engaging education up to Class 5 and assisting with their transition into mainstream schooling.
